Hi, I’m Vic!

31, working in sales and living in Plymouth, MA. America’s Hometown! My passion for food stems from my mother who taught all the necessary fundamentals. Which is what I’d like to pass onto you all, but with a fun and updated spin from my years of experimentation. Plus, most of us have jobs and don’t have time to hunt for recipes/slave over the stove.

That’s why, in an effort to combine forces with all the other young professionals just trying to juggle it all, I have decided to start Vic’s Tricks To… Pretending to You Have it All Together. I will be featuring some of my favorite food and drink recipes, meal prep plans, party ideas, and time and cost-saving tricks, mixed in with a few (half sad, wholly hilarious) sneak peeks into the mess that is Vic’s life.

The idea here is that as young professionals, we’ve got a lot going on…

There’s, of course, work, budgeting, and cleaning. Then, there’s having fun, like drinking, exercising (for some),  hobbies. And to top of off, I’m getting married this year! Then, there are the people who depend on you, like friends, family, SOs, and pets (you’ve probably seen my adorable dogs Winnie & Hank on my Instagram).  I’m exhausted just listing all those things. And yet that is a day in the life.

Speaking as a semi-professional POS, I’ve made it my goal to learn as much as I can about cutting corners in every aspect of my life. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a hard worker. But it’s about working SMARTER not HARDER. There are so many shortcuts and Tricks (get it?) out there to help give us a head start in the Us vs. The World race. The sprint to hell.  We’re the fools for not taking advantage.

Well, no more! Vic is here and she’s gonna make your life soooo much easier. My tricks are here to help you save time, money, energy, and stress. My recipes are simple and easy to follow, with pictures or videos to help you every step of the way. And, of course, they are both drunk and sober friends tested and approved! Guaranteed to be delicious or I’m sure I’ll hear about it in the comments!
